Kia’s Bold New Design

Interior: The interior is designed with 3D-printed components. 3D-printed features add a modern element to the spacious interior. This is Kia’s first time to add 3D Printing to their design process.

Exterior: The Telluride is 70.9 inches tall, 79.1 inches wide and 196.9 inches long. This is bigger than Kia’s largest SUV, the Sorento. The bold design is most heavily reflected in the exterior design with LED lights, a larger version of Kia’s signature tiger nose grille and more.

Smart Sensors and Light Emitted Rejuvenation

The interior is designed for comfort for both the driver and passengers. On top of that, it monitors the occupants vital signs. Smart Sensors capture each passenger’s vital health information through diamond-cut openings in the seatback.

The vitals are displayed on the interior door panels. The information from the Smart Sensors is used to program the Light Emitted Rejuvenation (LER) system. This system LED lights to improve the passenger’s energy levels and possibly treat jetlag. >>

Swipe Command

Back seat passengers get control from the second row center console. A thin, touch-sensitive band is mounted to this console and acts as an interactive touch screen.

Back seat passengers can select media by swiping their hand along the band. The media is played through an audio system or portable headphones that charge in the console.
