Previously Luther Kia of Bloomington received a A plus rating when I bought the car. The second time I came in to get the paint protectsnt put on my car they said to drive to the dealership and they would get it to the other place. When I arrived they wanted me to take ot there. 8:45AM: My son took his 2019 Kia into Kia of Bloomington (KoB)a few weeks ago for a scheduled factory recall service and found out they ran out of the parts, so he had to reschedule for 5-30-24. On Friday 5-31-24 he got his car back and noticed on Sunday that antifreeze was spraying and dripping out on his exhaust manifold, leaving very little antifreeze left in the radiator. Do not try to trade your vehicle in at Kia Bloomington and do not work with Brandon Schilinz. My vehicle was estimated at
$9,500 on Kelly Blue Book. When the dealership looked at the vehicle they claimed that the check engine light was on. They proceeded to offer me $4,000 for trade in because it would cost “so much to fix”, even though they admitted that they were just going to send the vehicle to auction. Had preset appt. for xx. engine light ON. Suddenly my 2020 Telluride would not start, even with a AAA svc. call with booster jump. AAA towed vehicle to dealership. With backlog schedule, the KIA svc. mgr. was able to work my vehicle in. Took 4 days for repair due to back order on starter motor. Once completed, vehicle runs fine. We drove 2 hours to look at the 2020 Kia Niro. Tia Danh, salesman, was very helpful, he helped me, to be able drive it home same day. they did the prep while my daughter and I went for lunch. excellent service. Paid cash.
The staff is wonderful. The service has been good, with one exception, they consistently over fill by one quart at each oil change. I have mentioned this each time I have been in, but it continued happening. This last visit my husband was with me and we again brought it up, and this time it was done correctly, but I don't think I should have to bring my husband or have to mention it every time.
Staff were personable and helpful about about my concerns about my car. Staff was more than accurate and honest about the time frame it would take for my appointment. The waiting nice clean and nice as usual.

Car not ready when initially suggested and ac line had missing filler cap. Later I discovered the ac was not functioning. Upon inspection, scrapes on ac line were noticed and combined with missing cap it appears that contact was made during engine removal and replacement damaging the line. Possible leak resulting.
My wait time was very long with no updates on when my car was going to be done. I understand you have a recall going on. Customer Service still involves taking care of customers waiting and new customers coming in. A new customer can wait a few minutes while you up date a customer that has been waiting for 2 1/2 hours with no updates. After asking several times when my car was going to be ready. Dealership was easy to find, but the lot was a little harder to navigate than I expected. Anel was the first salesman we saw and from that moment on he treated us well. He listened to what we wanted and responded with impeccable professionalism without going over the top. Very friendly, easy to work with, he sold a car to us without having to pressure us into anything we weren't ready for.
Never again. My daughters Kia Soul was broken into and towed to Kia of Bloomington. They would not give us an estimate until the parts arrived. If they knew what parts it needed, why could they not give us an estimate. They gave us a $2900 estimate, including 2 hours for "lifting and diagnostics". Preston was endlessly patient, both during the leasing process, and after I had to come back TWICE to get things I had left in my old car.
